Smart Communications Inc. set up SIM registration booths at Robinsons Malls nationwide

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Smart Communications partners with Robinsons Malls, setting up SIM card registration booths to assist shoppers.

Smart and TNT subscribers can now register their SIM cards at select Robinsons Mall nationwide through the SIM card registration booths set up by Smart Communications Inc., available until the end of the month.

See the list of Robinsons Malls with assisted SIM registration services below:

  • Metro Manila
    • Lingkod Pinoy Centers of Robinsons Novaliches, Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Manila, and Robinsons Metro East
  • Luzon
    • Robinsons Galleria South, Robinsons Starmills, Robinsons Lipa, and Robinsons Dasmarinas
  • Visayas and Mindanao
    • Robinsons Bacolod, Robinsons Iloilo, Robinsons Dumaguete, and Robinsons Butuan

According to PLDT and Smart SVP and head of the Consumer Sales Group Alex O. Caeg, the partnership with Robinsons Malls is “to make SIM registration easier for our customers, especially for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, those using non-data phones, and other mobile users who may need help in registering their SIMs.”



“This partnership with Smart strengthens our commitment by making the SIM registration service more convenient and safe for all our customers,” said Robinsons Malls VP for Operations, Marketing, and Business Development Joel Lumanlan.

Lumanlan added that the partnership allows Robinsons Malls to “support the government’s efforts to accelerate registration and protect mobile phone users.”

In order to hasten SIM registration before the deadline on April 26, 2023, Smart Communications Inc. has partnered up with various agencies, including the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and SM Supermalls.
