Globe SIM card registration via GlobeOne App now open

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Globe Telecommunications Inc. has now made SIM card registration available via the GlobeOne App. The telco said it is another convenient way for their subscribers to register their SIM before the deadline on April 26, 2023.

According to the official SIM registration update website of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), around 14 million subscribers have registered their SIM cards, which is only 16.45 percent of the total 87 million Globe users.

“We have made the GlobeOne app available for SIM registration to provide an easy and convenient platform for our customers to register. Through the app, you’ll be able to complete your registration in three easy steps! What’s more, you will also get to access exclusive offers, and the best deals and rewards available only on the app. We encourage our customers to plan and schedule their SIM registration as early as they can,” said Darius Delgado, Globe Consumer Mobile Business Head.

After registration, customers must take note or take a screenshot of their registration number, said Globe.

The telco also advised against allowing help from individuals or parties that offer SIM registration services as this could lead to fraud or identity theft.

“We strongly advise customers to only use official channels for SIM registration and not to share personal information with strangers or unverified sources. The GlobeOne app and our company’s SIM registration website, https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg, are the only official channels where our customers should register,” said Delgado.

Other than its official channels, Globe also has various SIM registration assisted desks across the country. Recently, it has launched National SIM Registration Week (NSRW), deploying 500 SIM registration desks in key areas in the Philippines.
