WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), no Low-Pressure Area (LPA) has been spotted inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). Meanwhile, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) continues to affect Palawan and Southern Mindanao.

The ITCZ continues to affect the Palawan Area and a major portion of Southern Mindanao, including the Zamboanga Peninsula.

On the other hand, the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao is forecast to experience isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms by early afternoon due to the ITCZ.

Fair weather is expected in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, with chances of rain due to localized thunderstorms by late afternoon or evening.
