WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), there are no more Low-Pressure Areas (LPA) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. At the moment, the Northeast Monsoon and the Shear Line affect the country’s weather conditions.

The weather agency reports that the LPA near western Visayas left PAR at 2 AM today, while the other LPA near Visayas fully dispersed at the same period.

Currently, PAGASA is not monitoring any other LPAs until the weekend.

Today, the shear line causes cloudy skies over Southern Luzon and Visayas. On the other hand, the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan continues to bring light rains over areas in Northern Luzon.
