In the PAHAYAG 2023 Second Quarter Survey, 23% of respondents expressed a desire to visit Palawan. This finding was echoed in other survey conducted by PUBLiCUS Asia.

Baguio City, often referred to as the Summer Capital of the Philippines, was the second most preferred destination. The city is known for its cool climate, scenic landscapes, and vibrant culture, making it another great stop on a Philippines tour.

Cebu and Siargao also ranked high on the list of preferred destinations, each chosen by 9% of respondents. Cebu was particularly popular among Visayans, while Siargao was favored by Mindanaoan respondents.



Aklan, home to the famous Boracay Island, and Batanes, known for its picturesque landscapes and unique culture, were also popular choices. Bohol and Davao rounded out the list, with Davao, known for its natural wonders and vibrant city life, resonating well with Mindanaoans.

The survey results highlight the diverse preferences and interests of Filipinos when it comes to travel destinations. The captivating beauty of Palawan, the allure of Baguio City, and the cultural experiences offered by other destinations have all contributed to their popularity among travelers.
