MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Julie Anne San Jose wowed “It’s Showtime” viewers with her amazing and powerful vocals singing “Cupid” by Fifty Fifty on Monday for the noontime show.
San Jose thanked “It’s Showtime” for letting her perform on stage for their noontime show on Instagram.
She captioned on her post saying “What’s up, Madalang People. Maraming salamat @itsshowtimena sa masayang tanghali!”
Besides her picture of her wearing a lavish red outfit she wore on stage, she also posted photos with the hosts Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis backstage.
San Jose came to the show as a guest to promote her upcoming movie called “The Cheating Game.”
After performing the song “Cupid”, San Jose opened up saying, “Alam mo matagal ko nang hinihintay ito… What’s up, madlang people?”
“Una sa lahat binabati ko kayong lahat. Sobrang happy ko na nandito ako ngayon. It’s an honor. It’s truly an honor and a privilege to be with you guys. …Natutuwa ako kasi nai-starstruck ako sa inyong lahat,” she added.
After that, she invited viewers to watch her movie with Rayver Cruz “That Cheating Game.”
ABS-CBN and GMA hit a milestone on Philippine television when they aired “It’s Showtime” officially on the GTV channel.
It’s Showtime airs on GTV from Monday to Saturday at 12 noon.
The Cheating Game will premiere in cinemas across the country on July 26 for people to watch.
