MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices are expected to rise on April 1, 2022, as a result of changes in the international market.

Petron Corp. said in an advisory that it will raise LPG prices by P3.25 per kilogram, or P35.75 for a typical 11-kilo cylinder, and AutoLPG rates by P1.81 per liter.

“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of April,” Petron said.

Starting at 6 a.m. on Friday, Solane-branded LPG rates also increased by PHP3.27 per kilogram.

Prices for an 11-kilogram LPG tank range from PHP880 to PHP1,100, according to the Department of Energy.
