Other than April, December is perhaps one of the months of the year filled with holidays. Here is the list of December Holidays this 2022 to help you plan out your vacation during the last month of the year.

Former President Rodrigo Duterte declared the official list of holidays for 2022 last October 29, 2021, through Proclamation No. 1236.

  • December 24, Saturday – Christmas Eve [WORKING HOLIDAY]
  • December 25, Sunday – Christmas Day [REGULAR HOLIDAY]
  • December 30, Friday – Rizal Day [REGULAR HOLIDAY]
  • December 31, Saturday – Last Day of the Year [WORKING HOLIDAY]

Meanwhile, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has recently signed Proclamation No. 90, declaring the official holidays for 2023. Included in the list are January 1 (Sunday) and January 2 (Monday).



This means you can plan your vacation up until January 2!
