WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), no Low-Pressure Area (LPA) has been spotted inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). However, two weather systems, namely the easterlies and shear line, bring rains over the country.
The weather agency reports no LPA currently being monitored. However, it still warns of at least two tropical storms entering the PAR within the month of December.
On the other hand, the shear line and easterlies bring high chances of rain to parts of the country, including Cagayan. The rest of the Philippines is forecast to have fair weather for the rest of the day, with chances of isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
