WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) being monitored has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). It was spotted 705 km East of Davao City.
It is unclear whether the LPA will turn into a tropical storm. However, the weather agency reports low chances of becoming a storm. It will possibly move westwards.
The LPA also brings rain over Visayas, Mindanao, and the Bicol Region. The same areas may expect rainy weather conditions for the next few days.
Meanwhile, the continues presence of the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan bring light rains over Luzon, including Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon. The rest of Luzon, such as Metro Manila, may expect isolated thunderstorms.
