Is this it, the Z movie we Filipino zombie-movie enthusiasts been waiting for?
Hours before 2020 touched down Star Cinema has released its brand new trailer for an upcoming zombie film, directed by acclaimed Filipino independent filmmaker Mikhail Red.
The same man who helmed spine-chilling movie Eerie and first Filipino Netflix originals Dead Kids, Red has given Filipino viewers a sneak peek as to what would it be if the country has to deal with such madness.
Spoiler Alert: It’s the same as any other Z films—where leads fight tooth and nail against hordes of violent infected (who are by the way terrifyingly fast!) and the human desperation for survival that mainly leads to betrayal.
This new Z film starred an ensemble of promising celebrities, including Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, with Mccoy de Leon, Ina Raymundo, Ian Veneracion, Maris Racal, and Dimples Romana.
Block Z is coming to cinemas this January 29.
