November 1, 2023

As per Proclamation No. 42, November 1 is a special non-working day in the country. This is in honor of the All Saints’ Day, an important day in many Catholic countries such as the Philippines.

November 2, 2023

Similarly, November 2 is declared a non-working holiday in the Philippines formalized by Proclamation No. 42. This day is an extension of the commemoration of the aforementioned All Saints’ Day. 

Moreover, this holiday is a mix of the observance of the dead and a joyful holiday. Families bring plenty of food and drink for their dead relatives.



November 4, 2023

Proclamation No. 356 designates November 4, Saturday, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Quezon, in commemoration of the death anniversary of its local hero, Apolinario Dela Cruz, also known as Hermano Puli.

This is an opportunity to honor the heroism and patriotism of Hermano Puli through appropriate ceremonies. 

November 7, 2023

In accordance with Proclamation No. 357, November 7, 2023 will be observed as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Cuenca, Province of Batangas, to celebrate its 147th Founding Anniversary. 

Consequently, this proclamation acknowledges the significance of this day and provides the people of Cuenca with the opportunity to actively participate and enjoy the celebration.



November 17, 2023

As formalized by Proclamation No. 344, November 17 is declared a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Carmen, Province of Surigao Del Sur. This day commemorates the Founding Anniversary, and serves as a time for residents to celebrate their municipality’s history and progress.

November 25, 2023

Through Proclamation No. 345, November 25, 2023, Saturday, is a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Maragusan, Province of Davao de Oro in celebration of its Founding Anniversary. This day provides the people of Maragusan the chance to participate and enjoy the celebration. 

November 27, 2023

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. moved the regular holiday for Bonifacio Day to November 27. This is formalized through Proclamation No. 90, amending Proclamation No. 42, S. 2022, declaring the regular holidays and special (non-working) days for the year 2023.
