Starting June 1, Cagayan de Oro City will be under the modified enhance community quarantine (MECQ) due to higher numbers of reported infections until June 15.

Listed below are the business establishments allowed to operate and permitted operation capacities during the MECQ period as stated under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Memorandum Circular 21-19.

For outdoor sports, courts, or venues, non-contact sports such as but not limited to walking, jogging, and running are allowed to operate at a 50 percent capacity rate. Contact sports, scrimmage, games, or activities are not allowed, as well as indoor sports and activities such as fitness studios, gyms, spas, and swimming pools.
