MANILA, Philippines – Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu remains silent about her break up rumor with longtime boyfriend and Kapuso actor Xian Lim.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News during fashion designer Francis Libiran’s 25th anniversary celebration on November 24, the Linlang actress quickly closed the question about her relationship status with longtime boyfriend Xian Lim.
“Sa amin na lang ‘yun. We’ll just keep it to ourselves na muna (for now),” the actress said.
Rumors of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim’s breakup have been spreading around since the beginning of the month, with fans continuing to notice the couple’s apparent lack of posts together on social media.
During a brief interview with ABS-CBN News on its YouTube channel, the “Linlang” actress said her romance with the Kapuso actor is a private matter that should be kept between them.
In the actress’s statement, she denied that her romance with Lim was on the break up stage and highlighted that they are fine.
“Okay naman po kami ni Xi. Mapanlinlang lang ang showbiz, pero maayos naman [kami]. Masaya naman po, ” she told reporters last Oct. 31, on the sidelines of “Linlang’s” thanksgiving press conference
Meanwhile, Lim on the other side, hasn’t addressed the breakup rumors as of this moment.
Chiu and Lim started dating in 2012, working together with numerous projects on the Kapamilya network, this includes “My Binondo Girl,” “Bride for Rent,” and “Bakit ‘Di Ka Crush ng Crush Mo,”.
