MANILA, Philippines – Actress and Beauty Queen Kylie Versoza admits that she is currently in a private relationship with a non showbiz foreigner.
Verzosa made the admission in an interview with ABS-CBN News on the sidelines of the 25th anniversary celebration of fashion designer Francis Libiran on November 27.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Kylie shared that her current boyfriend is not from showbiz and is also not Filipino.
“I’m so happy, I’m so happy. Honestly, I want to keep it private this time, so it’s a private relationship and it’s so much more peaceful. It’s really, really peaceful,” the actress/beauty queen said.
When she was asked if she would introduce her boyfriend, she replied, “I don’t know. Siguro ano, when I would want to show it. But right now, I’m so happy.”
Verzosa’s last relationship with Jake Cuenca ended in 2022, and during the appearance of the Miss International 2016 on Boy Abunda’s YouTube channel on Jan. 1, she said her split with the actor was not due to a failed relationship.
“I wouldn’t want to call it ‘It didn’t work out,’ no. Maybe it ended. I hear from people that it’s a failed relationship, that it didn’t work out, but hindi ko po siya kino-consider na ganoon,” said Verzosa.
“We both learned from the relationship; we both benefited from the relationship. I think it’s a good relationship. We became better people. I believe that who we are today is a contribution of that relationship,” added the beauty queen.
Meanwhile, In a vlog with It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda, Kylie expressed that she thought Jake was the one she would end up with.
“Akala ko siya na. Alam mo yung ganun? Hindi masyado. Akala ko hindi na ako magkakaroon ng heartbreak, akala ko siya na, pero… tsaka nagmahalan kami, we loved each other. Sobrang happy kami sa relationship, and sobrang grateful ako sa relationship. Hindi ako in shock, pina-process ko pa talaga lahat, process siya.”
