MANILA, PHILIPPINES — “Unbreak My Heart” pilot episode trends as Jodi Sta. Maria stuns viewers with her acting.
The groundbreaking series started trending on Twitter as viewers witnessed the cast in all their acting glory.
Hashtags such as UNBREAK MY HEART, UNBREAK MY HEART WORLD PREMIERE, GABBI GARCIA AS ALEX, started trending on Twitter as netizens were amazed by the series, including its quality and acting performance.
The pilot episode starts off with a confrontation at the airport between ex-lovers Matt (Richard Yap) and Rose (Jodi Sta. Maria), setting in motion the story of “Unbreak My Heart.”

The pilot episode debuted on television on Monday. In the episode, Jodi and Joshua’s character meet for the first time. Rose (Jodi Sta. Maria) was approached by Renz (Joshua Garcia) when she was mistaken for a different woman. The next day, they bumped into each other in the hotel where Matt was staying. Renz helped Rose chase her former lover.
Matt caught Rose and confronted her. However, she only had intentions of meeting her daughter, saying, “Hindi ikaw ang pinunta ko, gusto kong makita ang anak ko, ang tagal nang panahon.”
Matt was confused as to why Rose was so desperate to look for her daughter. Rose replied that she regretted leaving her child behind.
“Hindi, masaya na ang buhay ko ngayon, ang pinagsisisihan ko ay ‘yung iniwan ko ‘yung anak ko,” she said.
Rose left Matt and saw a drunk Renz trying to take his own life and managed to stop him on time. This scene is set to begin the love story of the two, which was featured heavily in the trailers.
