ITCZ affects CARAGA region: PAGASA

CARAGA region will experience “cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms” due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Thursday, January 6.

In its 4 AM bulletin, the weather bureau reported cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon due to northeast monsoon (amihan). In addition, northern Luzon will experience “partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains” also due to amihan.

PAGASA

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the Easterlies.

Moderate to Strong winds will prevail over the entire archipelago. – WhatALife.ph
