Cagayan de Oro, Philippines – Google Station, a Google service that allows partners to roll out free Wi-Fi hotspots in public places, is now available in select cities in Mindanao. This cities include Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Malaybalay, Ozamiz, Zamboanga, Dapitan, Tangub, Koronadal and General Santos. In partnership with Smart Communications, Inc., Google Station PH launched last February 2019. It aims to provide free high-quality internet connections in heavily trafficked locations such as airports, train stations, malls, and academic institutions. In Cagayan de Oro, it is available at the following locations: Laguindingan Airport, Cagayan de Oro City Hall, Misamis Oriental Provincial Capitol, Lifestyle District, and Cagayan Town Center (CTC).
