Fuel price rollback effective August 16, 2022

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The new set of fuel price changes of the month is set to take effect on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, according to industry sources.

In a separate advisory, Pilipinas Shell will implement price rollback for diesel by Php1.05 per liter, Php0.55 per liter for kerosene, and Php0.10 for gasoline. Changes will take effect on August 16, 2022, at 6:00 am.

Effective 8:01 am, CleanFuel will implement a price rollback for gasoline by Php0.10 per liter and Php1.05 per liter for diesel.

Effective 6:00 am, PetroGazz will implement a price rollback for diesel by Php1.05 per liter and for gasoline by Php0.10 per liter.



Effective 6:00 am, SeaOil will implement a price rollback for gasoline by Php0.10 per liter, for diesel by Php1.05 per liter, and kerosene by Php0.45 per liter.

The estimates for this week are the following:

  • Diesel by Php0.90-P1.20 per liter (rollback)
  • Gasoline by either Php0.10 (increase) or P0.20 per liter (rollback)
  • Kerosene by Php0.20-P0.50 per liter (rollback)

On August 9, fuel prices were reduced by Php2.20 per liter for diesel, Php2.10 per liter for gasoline, and kerosene by Php2.55 per liter. Meanwhile, previous price adjustments on August 2 were Php0.60-P0.75 per liter decrease for diesel and kerosene by Php0.75 per liter. On the contrary, fuel prices rose by Php0.75 per liter for gasoline.



As of August 9, 2022, the year-to-date net increase is Php17.55 per liter for gasoline, Php30.15 per liter for diesel and Php24.75 per liter for kerosene.
