Fuel price rollback effective August 2, 2022

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The first set of fuel price changes of the month is set to take effect on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, according to industry sources.

In a separate advisory, Pilipinas Shell will implement price rollback for diesel by Php0.60 per liter and Php0.75 per liter for kerosene, and price increase by Php0.75 for gasoline. Changes will take effect on August 2, 2022, at 6:00 am.

Effective 8:01 am, CleanFuel will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php0.75 per liter and price rollback by Php0.60 per liter for diesel.

Effective 6:00 am, PetroGazz will implement a price rollback for diesel by Php0.60 per liter and price increase for gasoline by Php0.75 per liter.



Effective 6:00 am, SeaOil will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php0.75 per liter, and price rollback for diesel by Php0.60 per liter, and kerosene by Php0.75 per liter.

Effective 12:01 am, Eastern Petroleum will implement price increase for gasoline by Php0.75 per liter and price rollback by Php0.75 per liter for diesel.

Effective 12:01 am, Caltex (CPI) will implement price increase of Platinum and Silver by Php0.75 per liter, and price rollback for diesel by Php0.60 per liter and kerosene by Php0.75 per liter.

Effective 12:00 am, August 1, 2022, AutoLPG announced a price rollback for LPG by Php1.15 per liter.



Effective 12:00 am, August 1, 2022, Petron announced a price rollback for LPG by Php2.05 per kilogram.

The estimates for this week are the following:



  • Diesel by Php0.50-P0.75 per liter (rollback)
  • Gasoline by Php0.50-P0.70 per liter (increase)
  • Kerosene by Php0.70-P1.00 per liter (rollback)

On July 26, fuel prices were reduced by Php1.85per liter for diesel, Php0.40 per liter for gasoline, and kerosene by Php0.70 per liter. Meanwhile, previous price adjustments on July 19 were Php2.00 per liter decrease for diesel, Php5.00 per liter for gasoline, and kerosene by Php0.70 per liter.

As of July 26, 2022, the year-to-date net increase is Php18.90 per liter for gasoline, Php32.95 per liter for diesel and Php28.05 per liter for kerosene.

Oil firms usually announce new fuel price changes every Monday to be implemented on Tuesday. – WhatALife!
