According to PAGASA, the country will experience cloudy skies caused by Easterlies affecting the eastern sections today, February 19 (Monday).

The weather bureau forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country according to its 4 a.m bulletin.

This weather event was caused by Easterlies/ Localized Thunderstorms. PAGASA states that possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, PAGASA’s Wind and Coastal Water forecast shows that the Northern Luzon will experience light to moderate east to southeast winds, causing slight to moderate coastal water conditions (0.6 to 2.5 meters).



The rest of the country will experience light to moderate east to northeast winds, leading to slight to moderate coastal waters (0.6 to 2.5 meters).

Everyone is advised to remain vigilant in the surrounding area especially the eastern part of the country where the easterlies will prevail, everyone must prepare for evacuation when heavy rains occur.
