MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Anne Curtis posted a number of eye-catching images to social media on Saturday, February 17, as the actress-host celebrated her 39th birthday.
Anne sought the assistance of renowned photographer BJ Pascual, who expertly captured and accentuated Anne’s inherent beauty.
“Birthday ko? Barefaced birthday,” Anne captioned on Instagram.
She continued by expressing her gratitude to everyone who sent greetings in honor of the momentous day.
Anne didn’t wear makeup for the pictures to showcase her natural appearance.
The wardrobe selections for the photo shoot also reflected the shoot’s natural and simplistic aesthetic. Anne is dressed in high-waisted Alaïa briefs and a stylish leather jacket by Alexander McQueen. She takes off her jacket in certain photo layouts to highlight her unique tattoo of a flower arrangement. With a dahlia for her kid and the name of her Magic Kingdom character, Anne received it late last year.
Meanwhile, Erwan Heussaff, a food content developer, and her spouse, prepared her menudo using capsicums, which are Australian equivalents of bell peppers.
When Anne and Vice Ganda were listed the ingredients for menudo in a humorous skit on “It’s Showtime,” their use of the term “capsicums” went viral.
Anne said bell pepper, but Vice Ganda corrected her, saying, “Arte mo, wala namang ganyan sa carinderia namin.”
For Anne’s birthday the previous year, Erwan prepared pancit “with lots of cheese,” another of Anne’s well-known memes.
Anne recently extended an invitation to OFWs to her birthday concert on “It’s Showtime,” alluding to another of her famous incidents.
The actress and her family are presently in Australia for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour.
In 2024, Anne celebrates her 27th year in show business. Her career has taken her to many other platforms and has earned her awards from the PMPC Star Awards for Television, FAMAS, and the Metro Manila Film Festival. Anne attended her first Paris Fashion Week last year, and since then, her reputation as a global celebrity has expanded.
