According to PAGASA, the country will experience partly cloudy across the country with a chance of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms today, February 16 (Friday).

Expect generally fair weather with partly cloudy skies in the morning for Luzon areas: Batanes and Babuyan Islands. However, isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are possible, particularly in the eastern sections possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Partly cloudy skies will prevail in the morning both in Visayas and  Mindanao: Eastern Visayas and Caraga, with the possibility of cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will encounter partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. These areas are affected by the Easterlies, with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Furthermore, PAGASA’s wind and coastal water conditions show that the eastern sections of the country will experience moderate to strong east-to-northeast winds, causing moderate to rough coastal water conditions (1.2 to 2.8 meters).

The public is advised to remain vigilant for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms, especially in areas with poor drainage and those already saturated with recent rains. Fishermen and small seafaring vessels are advised to exercise caution due to moderate sea conditions.

PAGASA encourages everyone to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and advisories through their official website and social media channels.
