Cagayan de Oro City reported 54 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday, May 7, 2021.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 54 new confirmed cases as of 10 PM yesterday, 23 of which are local cases with known links, four local APORs, and 27 local index cases.

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 5,236 COVID-19 cases.

Out of the total cumulative, 671 are active cases, 175 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 492 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and four cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 23 new recoveries and no death, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 4,341 and 224 respectively.
