CdeO logs 239 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend; active cases rise to 1,404

Cagayan de Oro City reported 249 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, January 24.

The city logged 249 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend, of which 147 are logged on Saturday and 103 on Sunday.

Breakdown: For the Saturday new cases, 93 are local index cases, 12 local cases with link, 30 local APOR cases, seven APOR cases with link, four returning overseas Filipino (ROFs), and one death. Meanwhile, for the Sunday new cases, 59 are local index cases, 11 local cases with link, 19 local APOR cases, six APOR cases with link, six ROFs, and one death.

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 22,106 COVID-19 cases.



Out of the total cumulative, 1,404 are active cases, 314 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 1,038 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and 52 cases under the ROF/LSI category.

The city also logged 58 new recoveries and two new deaths over the weekend, bringing the total recoveries and death cases to 19,838 and 864, respectively.
