Cagayan de Oro logged 34 new cases over the weekend of Jan 23-24

Cagayan de Oro City reported 34 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, January 25.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city recorded a total of 34 new cases over the weekend, bringing the total cumulative COVID-19 cases to 3,256.

Out of the cumulative total, 383 are active cases, 117 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 264 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and two cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 20 new recoveries and no new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,710 and 163, respectively.



Of the cumulative total, 418 are under the LSI/ROF category, with two active cases, one death (ROF), and 415 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 2,838 with 264 active cases, 162 deaths, and 2,295 recoveries.
