PAGASA: Two weather systems affecting the country, no weather disturbances monitored

WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the shear line is affecting Northern Luzon while the ITCZ (Intertropical Convergence Zone) is affecting the southern part of Mindanao.

Sa ngayong araw, wala po tayong binabantayan o namo-monitor na Low Pressure Area o bagyo na maaring makaapekto sa bansa,” said PAGASA Weather Forecaster Aldczar D. Aurelio.

(Today, PAGASA is not monitoring any Low-Pressure Area or storms that may affect the country.)

The LPA being monitored has a chance to dissolve within the next 12 to 24 hours, but expect rains in Caraga and Davao Region from morning till noon.



WEATHER TODAY – November 7, 2022

For today’s weather forecast, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and the Bicol region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line.

The rest of Luzon can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers brought by Thunderstorms usually occurring in the afternoon to evening.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Easterlies or ITCZ.



The rest of Visayas and Mindanao can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with sudden rain showers due to Localized Thunderstorms.
