PAGASA: No LPA for the next three days

WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) continues to affect Mindanao. Meanwhile, no Low-Pressure Area is spotted inside and nearby the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

For today’s weather forecast, the ITCZ continues to affect Mindanao, while Visayas and Luzon are affected by the Easterlies, which bring hot and humid weather.

The country also remains unaffected by the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.

At the moment, the weather agency reports no LPA inside PAR.



Wala po tayong binabantayan na Low-Pressure Area o bagyo sa loob ng Philippine Area of Responsibility, lalo na po sa Dagat Pasipiko,” said DOST-PAGASA Weather Specialist Aldczar D. Aurelio.

(We are not monitoring any Low-Pressure Area or storms inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, especially in the Pacific Ocean)

WEATHER TODAY – NOVEMBER 29, 2022

Areas in Luzon may expect fair and hot weather with chances of isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Rains will usually last from 30 minutes to one hour.

Visayas and Mindanao are also forecast to have fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. There are still chances of isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.



The weather agency forecasts the arrival of the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) in Luzon on Thursday and Friday.

Metro Cebu and Metro Davao may expect cloudy skies and isolated rain showers from Wednesday to Thursday due to the ITCZ. Meanwhile, residents in Baguio City may experience light rain showers from Thursday to Friday due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).

For the next three days, PAGASA forecasts no LPA inside PAR.
