MANILA, Philippines – Netizens quickly noticed that Sarah Labhati and Richard Gutierrez unfollowed each other on Instagram. She also unfollowed other members of Gutierrez’s family — his mother Annabelle Rama, his sister Ruffa, and his twin brother Raymond.
Sarah unfollowed Annabelle Rama, Ruffa Gutierrez and the twin brother of Richard, Reymond on Instagram. She has also changed the name on her profile page to “Sarah Lahbati” from the previous “SLG” which includes Gutierrez, her married name.
Netizens also noticed that Richard Gutierrez also unfollows her wife Sarah Labhati on Instagram, which people believed as a sign of their separation.
Speculation regarding Sarah and Richard’s separation arose in 2023 when social media users observed a deviation from their usual pattern of sharing photos together online and noticed that they were spending time separately with their children.
Their last public appearance together was at Maja and Rambo Nuñez’s wedding in Bali, Indonesia, back in July. Richard was notably absent from Sarah’s 30th birthday celebration on October 9 in Siargao. Additionally, he attended both the ABS-CBN Ball and the Opulence Halloween Ball alone in the same year.
Sarah’s decision to cut her hair short in November sparked curiosity among netizens regarding her relationship status with Richard.
Meanwhile, rumors are spreading eight now on the internet where Richard and Barbie Imperial were spotted together at a Gastropub in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
Gutierrez and Imperial were seen whispering to each other. The actor then said something to the latter, to which she nodded in response in a video. It was also said that Barbie Imperial put her arms on Richard’s shoulder to support her going in the comfort room.
Richard Gutierrez and Barbie Imperial, who used to work together in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” have yet to make a statement about their recent sighting, as of this writing.
During last year’s Christmas, Lahbati spent time with her two sons, Zion and Kai, along with her family. Meanwhile, Gutierrez ushered in the New Year in Tokyo, Japan, accompanied by the rest of his family.
Annabelle Rama, Gutierrez’s mother, previously discussed her son’s marriage with Sarah. She mentioned that her son had been residing with her for the past month and stated that she was not in communication with her daughter-in-law.
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News, Rama disclosed that Gutierrez has plans to permanently move back into their family home but refrained from definitively confirming whether the “Iron Heart” star and Lahbati have separated.
