#LoveIsLove! Rebel Wilson greets Happy Pride to all as she reveals her girlfriend on Instagram.
The Pitch Perfect actress reveals she is dating a woman, after only dating men publicly for years. She posted the announcement on Instagram yesterday, June 9.
“I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess,” she said in her post and tagged it with #loveislove.
Wilson’s partner is fashion designer Ramona Agruma. She runs her sustainable clothing brand in Los Angeles.
The couple was first spotted together in January. Then Wilson took Agruma as her plus-one during the Vanity Fair Oscar party in March.
In her interview with People in May, Wilson shared that she was set up with her partner through a friend. They talked on the phone for weeks before meeting, which she described as “a bit old school” and “very romantic.”
“I think that what you want in a partner is elevated and so it’s great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship,” Wilson stated.
Wilson also said how she’s in the process of finding her self-worth.
“There were times – I’m not saying with all my exes, they’re great – but there were some times that I was probably putting up with [w]hat I shouldn’t have. So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship,” she said.
Before meeting Agruma, the Senior Year star also said that she used dating apps on and off.
She also revealed that in 2019, she took part in an experiment called “Year of Love,” where she met around 50 people to practice dating.
The actress previously split from her boyfriend, Jacob Busch, an heir to the Anheuser-Busch family, back in 2021. – WhatALife!
