WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), there are currently no Low-Pressure Areas (LPAs) spotted inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). No LPA is expected until the weekend.
The weather agency reports that the prevailing Northeast Monsoon or Amihan continues affecting the weather condition of Luzon, particularly in the southern portion. It brings rains, cloudy skies and, at times, strong winds.
Meanwhile, Visayas and Mindanao may expect clear skies with chances of rain as early in the morning due to Localized Thunderstorms, particularly in Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, Northern Mindanao, and Central Visayas.
With no LPA expected until the weekend, most parts of the country are forecast to have fair weather for the rest of the week. However, chances of rain are possible due to the Northeast Monsoon and Localized Thunderstorms, particularly over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.
