WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), there is currently no Low-Pressure Area (LPA) spotted inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). Meanwhile, cloud clusters over Visayas and Mindanao may bring rain as early as the morning.

As of 10:00 pm yesterday, the LPA spotted near Luzon has completely dissipated due to the shear line. The weather agency reports no other LPA until the weekend.

The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan still prevails, bringing cloudy skies and rains over Southern Luzon.

On the other hand, cloud clusters bring rain over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region as early as the morning. Said weather system may dissipate within the day, resulting in fair weather over Visayas and Mindanao come afternoon.

For today’s weather forecast, the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) bring light rains and cloudy skies over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Ifugao, Mountain Valley, and Kalinga. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may expect fair weather with chances of rain due to the Amihan.

On the other hand, Palawan and the Kalayaan Islands are forecast to have fair weather for the rest of the day, with chances of rain brought by localized thunderstorms.

Temperatures range from 20 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius.

Most of Visayas and Mindanao may experience fair weather, except for areas in Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region due to the cloud clusters.
