PAGASA: Clear skies for the next three days

WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), most of the country is forecast to have clear skies for the rest of the day. No Low-Pressure Area (LPA) is currently being monitored inside and nearby the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

As seen in the latest satellite image by PAGASA, no LPA is spotted inside or nearby the PAR. DOST-PAGASA Weather Forecaster Patrick Del Mundo reports low chances of tropical storms for the next three days.

At the moment, the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan affects the weather conditions of major parts of Luzon. Meanwhile, thunderstorm activity lasting up to 2 hours is high over Zamboanga City, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

The rest of the country may expect fair weather for the rest of the day, with chances of light rain over Luzon due to the Amihan.



WEATHER TODAY – FEBRUARY 10, 2023

For today’s weather forecast, cloudy skies and light rains are possible over Quezon and the Bicol Region due to the Northeast Monsoon. The rest of Luzon may expect fair weather conditions with chances of light rains brought by the same weather system.

Temperatures in Luzon range from 21 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius.

Visayas and Mindanao are forecast to have generally fair weather. However, there are chances of rain in the afternoon till evening due to localized thunderstorms. Temperatures range from 24 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Mindanao is forecast to have fair weather with chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures range from 23 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees Celsius.



PAGASA has also lifted all gale warnings. However, residents in coastal areas in Luzon, particulary in the extreme northern and eastern areas, are warned of Moderate to strong and rough waves due to the Northeast Monsoon.
