Thrilling her legions of fans with more passion, more guts, Olivia Rodrigo has announced the release of “Guts” deluxe edition. The revelation came during a performance at the United Center in Chicago, where Rodrigo shared the exciting news with a captivated audience.
While belting out her hit track “Get Him Back!” during an encore, Rodrigo, accompanied by her backup dancers, surprised everyone by revealing handwritten signs. These signs unveiled not only the release date—set for Friday, March 22—but also the titles of the Guts deluxe tracks.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, Rodrigo couldn’t contain her excitement. Accompanied by snapshots of the album’s cover art, her announcement sparked a flurry of anticipation among eager fans.
Dubbed “Guts (Spilled),” the extended version promises to take listeners even deeper into Rodrigo’s musical journey. Alongside the original tracks, the Guts deluxe edition will include five additional songs. Among these are four previously unreleased “secret” tracks that Rodrigo had scattered across various vinyl releases of “Guts.”
These tracks—such as “Obsessed,” “Girl I’ve Always Been,” “Scared of My Guitar,” and “Stranger”—have been eagerly anticipated by Rodrigo’s devoted fanbase. Now, they’re finally getting the chance to experience them in all their glory.
However, the excitement doesn’t end there. Also included in the Guts deluxe edition is a brand-new track titled “So American.” Recorded after the initial release of “Guts,” the fresh addition promises to showcase Rodrigo’s continued evolution as an artist.
