CAGAYAN DE ORO, PHILIPPINES — A shocking incident unfolded on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on 13th Street in Nazareth, as an aspiring candidate for Mister Cagayan de Oro was shot by two unidentified suspects riding a ‘bao bao’. Investigations Underway as Police Probe Possible Pageant-Related Motive.
The victim, identified as Adriane Rovic Fornillos, suffered a fatal headshot after removing his helmet. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Fornillos tragically succumbed to his injuries several hours later.
According to CCTV footage from the scene, Fornillos was riding his motorcycle when the assailants, riding a ‘bao bao’, approached and opened fire.
