MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Celebrity power couple Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado went above and beyond to celebrate the first birthday of their adorable daughter, Dylan Jayde Ho.
The couple hosted a whimsical and sweet-filled extravaganza, aptly named “canDYLANd,” on April 25, 2023, leaving no detail untouched to ensure an unforgettable experience for their little one and their esteemed guests.
Jennylyn Mercado expressed her gratitude to the talented event stylist Gideon Hermosa for his delectable styling, as well as the efficient full event coordination and organization by VP Events Co. She also acknowledged Nice Print Photography for their meticulous photo and video documentation.
Gideon Hermosa, an internationally renowned floral and event designer, took charge of transforming the blank canvas of Whitespace MNL into a magical candy-filled wonderland. Hermosa’s vision aimed to materialize desserts as party decors, featuring eye-catching elements such as yummy gummy bears, pastel palm trees, and life-size candies adorning every corner.
The clever “canDYLANd” theme delighted everyone in attendance, especially the young guests who indulged in the bouncy castles and playgrounds provided by City Jump’N Slide, The Nest Play and Party Pad, and Pastel Play PH.
The delectable variety of food and scrumptious bonbons were courtesy of renowned caterers and dessert providers, including Juan Carlo the Caterer, The Purple Wok, Festives by Cluster Cones, Crepe Glazik, Pasta Polo PH, Audrey’s Pastries, Hotlinks PH, Sweet Tooth MGS, Frose Cocktails, Puffles PH, Donuts on the Go, and a custom-made birthday cake from Honey Glaze Cakes.
Adding to the enchantment of the event was the spectacular lights and sound set-up by the Ignite Pro team, while Geraldine Uy curated delightful performances to keep the crowd entertained throughout the night. Guests were treated to care kits from Nina Leather Goods & Gifts, candy bags from InstaMUG, and captured precious memories at the dynamic photobooth provided by Pose and Print.
