MANILA, PHILIPPINES — On February 28, leading Banking App Maya has announced the appointment of Filipina actress Liza Soberano as its newest brand ambassador and Chief Advocacy Officer. Maya’s management team made the announcement during a press conference in Metro Manila.

Hollywood star Liza Soberano made another big move in pursuing her true passions. It is a bold decision but nonetheless made by herself, for herself, as she joins the Digital Banking app company, Maya.

As a brand endorser, Liza co-created a short film together with the director and Maya. She said “yes” to becoming the digital banking app’s ambassador because with them, she is confident that her money is safe and earns interest, and the app is seamless and easy to use.

In a statement, Maya’s management team expressed excitement about having Soberano on board, citing her passion for baking and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

As Maya’s brand ambassador and Chief Advocacy Officer, Soberano will participate in various campaigns, events, and activities to promote the brand and its products, breaking the mold of traditional celebrity endorsements and changing the game for marketing financial services.

Although Liza got the “job” offer, she said she was interviewed about herself and the values she stands for to make their campaigns meaningful.

For their first collaborative campaign with Save the Children, Liza and Maya unveiled “The Big Bank Heist” for children. Details about it will soon be available on social media, she said.

Liza will manage important initiatives as the chief advocacy officer and support Maya’s shared advocacy for financial inclusion. This begins with partnership initiatives for Save The Children, the world’s largest independent children’s charity.

Most of all, Liza’s main role in her new job is to campaign and spread awareness about financial inclusion.

Among her goals, therefore, is for financial literacy to be talked about in more schools and households. – WhatALife!/Jayve
