Proclamation No. 509 recognizes April 1, Monday, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Santa Cruz, Occidental Mindoro Province. This is in line with the celebration of the 75th Founding Anniversary of the said place.

Moreover, this is an opportunity for the people of Santa Cruz to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration.



Similarly, Proclamation No. 500 designates April 1 as a special (non-working) day in the City of Tanjay, Province of Negro Oriental to mark the celebration of its Charter Anniversary.

Is April 3, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?

In accordance with Proclamation No. 496, March 3, 2024, will be observed as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Balangiga, Province of Eastern Samar, to celebrate its 170th Founding Anniversary. 

Furthermore, this proclamation acknowledges the significance of this day and provides the people of Balangiga with the opportunity to actively participate and enjoy the celebration.

Is April 4, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?

As formalized by Proclamation No. 501, April 4 is declared a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Laak, Province of Davao de Oro. This day commemorates their 45th Founding Anniversary and serves as a time for residents to celebrate their municipality’s history and progress.



Moreover, Proclamation No. 497 recognizes April 4, Thursday, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Antipolo, Province of Rizal. This is in line with the celebration of the 26th Cityhood Anniversary of the said place.

Is April 5, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?

Through Proclamation No. 498, April 5, 2024, Friday, is a special (non-working) day in the Province of Pangasinan in celebration of its 444th Founding Anniversary.



Furthermore, Proclamation No. 502 also designates April 5 as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Lamut, Province of Ifugao to mark the celebration of its Founding Anniversary.

Is April 8, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?

In accordance with Proclamation No. 503, April 8, 2024, will be observed as a special (non-working) day in the Mountain Province. 

Ultimately, the province’s Founding Anniversary is on April 7, which falls on a Sunday. With this, the Office of the Governor requested that April 8, Monday, be a holiday instead to enable the people of Mountain Province to fully participate in the occasion.

As per Proclamation No. 368, April 9 is a regular holiday in the country. This is with respect to the Araw ng Kagitingan celebration in the country. 

Is April 11, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?

As formalized by Proclamation No. 504, April 11 is declared a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Dolores, Province of Quezon. This day commemorates their 189th Founding Anniversary, and serves as a time for residents to celebrate their municipality’s history and progress.

Is April 19, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?

Through Proclamation No. 499, April 19, 2024, Friday, is a special (non-working) day in Tarlac. This is in celebration of its 26th Charter Anniversary.

Consequently, this holiday gives an opportunity for people of Tarlac to enjoy the festivities of the said celebration.

Is April 23, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?

Proclamation No. 505 recognizes April 23, Tuesday, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Plaridel, Province of Bulacan. This is in line with the commemoration of the Battle of Quingua. Filipinos fought the battle on April 23, 1899, in Plaridel, Bulacan. Similarly, Proclamation No. 507 reveals the Municipality of Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro, to be another special (non-working) day. The said day marks the celebration of the Municipality’s Bahaghari Festival.

Is April 30, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?
