Former One Direction member Liam Payne shares he had COVID-19 and announced on Twitter the reschedule of his virtual show ‘Here’s To The Future,’ originally scheduled for January 29.

On Wednesday, January 26, the singer posted to his Instagram account, revealing, “Unfortunately, I had COVID and will not be ready in time to give you the show you all deserve.”

The Strip That Down singer, however, said in the same message that the show would be moved to Saturday, February 12, and all tickets are still valid.

“Just in time for Valentine’s Day!!” the Popstar posted.

Along with Liam, the showcase is set to up-and-coming guest artists such as Madilyn Bailey, LYN Lapid, iamnotshane, and Just Stef. It will be hosted by Veeps – a livestream platform for music artists.

After the announcement, fans were quick to wish their favorite singer over Twitter with messages wishing him for quick recovery. One fan tweeted, “Hope you recovers soon Liam…! All the love <3 Take care of yourself and stay strong our sunshine #GetWellSoonLiam.”

Another fan also tweeted, “I wish I could send you flowers IRL but as I can’t here it goes. I hope you get well soon. Take your time. You’ll be fine #GetWellSoonLiam @LiamPayne.”

#GetWellSoonLiam now has over 15,000 tweets and counting.
