SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA — Kim Sejeong, a South Korean singer and actress who has recently been raising a lot of praise for her role in “A Business Proposal,” has lately been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday, March 22.
The actress is going to temporarily put on hold her activities and fan meeting due to contracting the virus.
Jellyfish Entertainment, the agency of the actress, made an official announcement on the day of the diagnosis that she is undergoing a self-quarantine and is currently focusing on her recovery.
Her agency also said that there is going to be a delay for the upcoming fan meeting “Sejeong’s Sesang Diary,” which they initially set for March 26.

Due to the sudden news, the agency expressed their sincere apologies and assured the fans that there is a reschedule for the event soon.
“We wish to apologize to all fans who had been waiting for the fan meeting and request for your understanding, and we will ensure that our company prioritizes Kim Sejeong’s health and safety. We send out our sincerest apology for creating concern.”
Despite her current situation, she has already done her part in filming the Business Proposal drama. So, her recent diagnosis will not affect the scheduled broadcasting of the show.
In addition, the agency also made a confirmation that the actress got her positive test result on March 22 after conducting a rapid antigen test.
