Alexa Ilacad and KD Estrada, known as KDLex, have undeniably captured the hearts of many as one of this generation’s most beloved and rapidly rising artists.

Born on February 26, 2000, Alexa began her journey in front of the cameras at 2 as a commercial model. 

Over the years, she showcased her talent in various television advertisements, honing her acting, singing, and dancing skills. 

Her breakthrough came in 2008 when she joined the cast of the long-running kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit, paving the way for more opportunities in the entertainment industry.

Throughout her career, Alexa has displayed remarkable versatility, transitioning from portraying young versions of actresses to headlining her own projects. 

From her role as Lexie Domingo in Luv U to her memorable performances in teleseryes like Doble Kara and The Good Son, she has consistently captivated audiences with her acting prowess.

On the other hand, KD’s journey in showbiz is relatively new. Discovered on Facebook by someone from Star Magic, KD made his television debut in 2021 on the ASAP Natin ‘To stage. 

His big break came when he joined Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10, where he gained recognition as the “Musical Wonderboy of Parañaque City.”

Inside the PBB house, KD formed a special connection with Alexa, and their bond quickly caught the attention of fans, giving rise to the KDLex loveteam. 

Despite not winning the competition, their popularity soared, leading to a string of projects together.

Their collaboration extends beyond acting, as Alexa and KD share a passion for music. 

Together, they have released several song collaborations and lent their voices to various projects, showcasing their musical talents.

In 2024, they graced the Star Magical Prom with their enchanting “The Little Mermaid”-inspired looks and were crowned Prom King and Queen, further solidifying their status as one of the most popular loveteams in the industry.

While their paths may have started separately, finding each other has undoubtedly been a blessing for Alexa and KD as they continue to fulfill their dreams together as KDLex.
