MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The first set of fuel price changes for the month is set to take effect on Tuesday, October 04, 2022, according to industry sources.

In a separate advisory, CALTEX will implement a price rollback for diesel by Php0.45 per liter, and kerosene by Php0.85 per liter, and Platinum and Silver gasoline by Php0.40 per liter, effective 12:01 am.

Effective 6:00 am, PetroGazz will implement a price rollback for diesel by Php0.45 per liter and Php0.40 per liter for gasoline.

Effective 6:00 am, SeaOil will implement a price rollback for diesel by Php0.45 per liter, gasoline by Php0.40 per liter, and kerosene by Php0.85 per liter.



Effective 8:01 am, CleanFuel will implement a price rollback for diesel by Php0.45 per liter and gasoline by Php0.40 per liter.

Effective 6:00 am, Pilipinas SHELL, PTT Philippines, and UniOil will implement a price rollback for diesel by Php0.45 per liter, kerosene by Php0.85 per liter, and gasoline by Php0.40 per liter.

The estimates for this week are the following:




  • Diesel – Php0.50 to Php0.80 per liter (rollback)
  • Gasoline – Php0.40 to Php0.60 per liter (rollback)
  • Kerosene – Php1.10 to Php1.20 per liter (rollback)
  • LPG – Php2.55 per kilo (rollback)

On September 27, fuel prices were decreased by Php1.25 for diesel, Php1.65 for gasoline and Php1.35 for kerosene. Meanwhile, previous price adjustments on September 20, fuel prices were decreased by Php4.15 per liter for diesel, Php0.00 for gasoline and kerosene by Php4.45 per liter.

As of September 27, 2022, the year-to-date net increase is Php14.85 per liter for gasoline, Php29.40 per liter for diesel, and Php24.10 per liter for kerosene.

Oil firms usually announce new fuel price changes every Monday to be implemented on Tuesday. – WhatALife!
