CAGAYAN DE ORO, PHILIPPINES — In a heartfelt message addressed to parents and students, Don Mariano Canoy Colleges (DMCC) sadly announced on May 12 its permanent closure. Citing insurmountable challenges, the institution expressed its inability to continue operating effectively.

The news has left the community in shock and sadness, as DMCC has been an integral part of the educational landscape for the past 50 years.

The administration expressed deep gratitude to all those who have entrusted their faith in the college’s mission of providing quality education. Throughout its existence, DMCC has strived to offer students a high level of learning and development.

The statement read: 



“To our dear parents and students,

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the permanent closing of Don Mariano Canoy Colleges. Due to difficult circumstances, we are no longer able to operate effectively. Allow us to express our deepest gratitude to all of you who have put your faith in our mission of education. We have done our best to provide your children with the high level of learning we believe they deserve.

Rest assured that we will provide you with all the assistance that you need to process your transfer to other learning institutions.

It has been our greatest honor and privilege to serve the community for the past 50 years. We hope that you remember us fondly and with kindness.



Thank you very much and may God bless us all.”
