Cagayan de Oro coronavirus cases rise to 1,762

Cagayan de Oro City reported 47 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Wednesday, November 4.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 47 new cases as of 10 PM yesterday, bringing the total cumulative to 1,762.

Out of the cumulative total, 614 are active cases, 35 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 556 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and 23 cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 47 new recoveries and one new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 1,074 (60.95% recovery rate) and 74 (4.2% fatality rate), respectively.



Of the cumulative total, 366 are under the LSI/ROF category, with 23 active cases, one death (ROF), and 342 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 1,396, with 556 active cases, 73 deaths, and 732 recoveries.
