Cagayan de Oro coronavirus cases rise to 1,649

Cagayan de Oro City reported 31 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Saturday, October 31.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said all 31 new cases are local, with 14 close contacts of previously confirmed cases and three local Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APORs).

The cumulative total of confirmed cases in the city is now at 1,649.

Out of the cumulative total, 573 are active cases, 27 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 532 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and 14 cases under the ROF/LSI category.



Dr. Nery also announced 14 new recoveries and one new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 1,005 and 71 respectively.

Of the cumulative total, 357 are under the LSI/ROF category, with 14 active cases, one death (ROF), and 342 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 1,292, with 532 active cases, 70 deaths, and 663 recoveries.
