Cagayan de Oro logs 23 new cases; total now at 1,372

Cagayan de Oro City reported 24 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday, October 23. In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery reported 24 new cases, one of which is a locally stranded individual (LSI) and 23 are local cases. The cumulative total of confirmed cases in the city is now at 1,372. Out of the cumulative total, 419 are active cases, 27 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 382 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and ten cases under the ROF/LSI category. Dr. Nery also announced four new recoveries and one new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 891 and 62, respectively. Of the cumulative total, 351 are under the LSI/ROF category, with ten active cases, one death (ROF), and 340 recovered.
