Converge FiberX

Converge is one of the fastest–growing internet providers in the Philippines. In August 2024, the company was given the Ookla Speedtest Award for the Fastest Internet Provider in the Philippines for the first two quarters of 2024. This marks their second year of surpassing their competitors.

Globe Fiber

Globe is one of the go-to internet providers in the Philippines. A major highlight of their services is that one of their plans offers one of the fastest internet speeds in the Philippines at 1.5Gbps. Plus, most of their plans come with unlimited landlines when you call Globe mobile numbers. As well as access to a Basic or Premium  Disney+ Plan, depending on the bundle you get.

A disadvantage that we found is that you have to reload your Wifi after your plan expires, which can be tedious if you have to do it every 7 or 30 days.

Starlink

Starlink undoubtedly has one of the most priciest internet plans available in the Philippines. Still, their main selling point is you can connect to the internet almost anywhere in the country – even in the ocean!  This is possible because the company uses satellite internet, so you’re less likely to run into downtime than cable internet.

We like that their standard plan provides unlimited data, albeit you have to splurge a  little to get its perks. But a major highlight of their service is that you don’t need to install it with wires, so you can enjoy high-speed internet even in remote areas of the country.

What is the best internet service provider in the Philippines?

It’s difficult to weigh which internet service provider is the best since each has its own pros and cons. The best recommendation we can give you is to assess your needs. Consider how much data and speed you would need each month so you can find a plan that fits your budget. 

For instance, if you work from home and tend to use high-end online software, it’s best to find a bundle that offers high-speed internet. But, if having a landline or access to a streaming service is more important, consider a plan that offers these perks.
