Strict observance of minimum public health standard

Travelers are expected to follow the minimum health protocol, including the observance of physical distancing, frequent hand sanitizing, proper couch etiquette, and properly wearing of face masks and face shields at all times.

Moreover, must have no close contact with COVID-positive individuals in the last 14 days. If possible, conduct a week or two of personal isolation prior to the date of travel.

COVID-19 Swab Test Requirement

All non-authorized person outside of residence (APOR) and locally stranded individual (LSI) are required to be swabbed for RT-PCR test upon entry into the city regardless of the quarantine status of their place of origin.

All arriving passengers who took the RT-PCR test upon arrival will not be required to undergo 14-day quarantine, and test kits shall be borne out at the local government’s expense. However, travelers must provide an active contact number and the exact complete address of their destination in the city for monitoring and contact tracing purposes.

The COVID-19 swab test will be done at the Pagadian City Airport for travelers who enter the city by plane and at the City isolation Center in Barangay Sta. Maria for those who enter the city by land.

A FREE RT-PCR Swab Test upon arrival will be available for all Pagadian residents. Those who don’t have an RT-PCR test result must show a legitimate vaccination card showing that the traveler has taken the complete vaccination.

Essential and working APORs

All APORs who enter the city regularly for work purposes, as well as essential couriers, uniformed personnel, and government workers, are not required to take RT-PCR tests.

Travelers who arrive bringing along NEGATIVE RT-PCR tests done from their place of origin will be valid for five (5) days or less prior to returning overseas Filipinos (plus Bureau of Quarantine Certificate) and three (3) days or less to local repatriates.

Present a valid identification card

Any valid / government-issued identification card, while Government APOR/private APOR on official business must present, along with their government/company ID, a travel order or mission order.
