97 couples say ‘I do’ in PAGIBIG NorMin mass wedding

Cagayan de Oro, Philippines – Valentine’s Day, PAGIBIG Fund held its ninth “I Do, I Do! Araw ng Pag-ibig,” civil mass wedding for its PAGIBIG member-couples.

Around 97 couples in Northern Mindanao exchanged vows, officiated by Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno.

PAGIBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Acmad Rizaldy Moti said that the fund aims to uplift each member’s families. Moreover, as part of the agency’s corporate social responsibility, it aims to sponsor those who can’t afford a wedding.

This year, 1,000 couples participated in the free civil mass wedding organized across the country, including Baguio, Isabela, Pampanga, Bulacan, Laguna, Bicol, Cebu, Negros Occidental, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao.

PAGIBIG Fund sponsored around 21,000 member-couples to tie-a-knot since 2012.
