Want to buy your dream house but financially short? Avail for the Pag-IBIG housing loan benefit. Members may borrow up to six million (Php 6,000,000) at a low-interest rate and a loan term of up to 30 years.
Pag-IBIG Housing Loan eligibility
Members who can pass all the following criteria may avail of the Pag-IBIG Housing Loan:
- Active member with at least 24 months savings;
- Not more than 65 years old at the date of loan application and is not more than 70 years old at the date of loan maturity;
- Legal capacity to acquire and encumber real property;
- No Pag-IBIG housing loan foreclosed, canceled, bought back, or voluntarily surrendered;
- If with an existing Pag-IBIG Housing account or Short Term Loan (STL), payments must be updated.
Step-by-step availment process
Step 1. Accomplish the Housing Loan Application and provide the required documents.
Below are the following requirements:
- Housing Loan Application Form
- Vicinity Map of Property
- Additional Requirement by Loan Purpose
- Proof of Income
- Updated Tax Declaration and Tax Receipt
- Valid IDs
- Certified and True Copy of Title
Step 2. Submit your Pag-IBIG Housing Loan Application
Submit your application form and initial requirements via Virtual Pag-IBIG. Then, submit the complete requirements at any Pag-IBIG Housing Business Center or branch near you.

Step 3. Receive your Notice of Approval (NOA) and Letter of Guaranty (LOG)
As soon as the fund agency verifies your application is complete and in order, the Pag-IBIG Funds will notify you where to claim your NOA and LOG conveniently.
Step 4. Complete the requirements stated in your NOA
Complete the requirements listed in your NOA within 90 calendar days, including, among many others, the transfer of title and annotation of the mortgage.
Step 5. Receive your Pag-IBIG Housing Loan proceeds
Upon submitting your post-approval requirements, you will receive the proceeds of your loan within ten (10) working days. The fund agency will notify you on how and where your loaned funds will be released.
Step 6. Start paying your Pag-IBIG Housing Loan
Start paying your Pag-IBIG Housing Loan exactly one (1) month after its release date. Remember to use your permanent Housing Loan Account number (12Digit-HLAN) when paying. For your convenience, you may pay your loan via the Virtual Pag-IBIG portal or via its accredited collecting partners’ outlet.
